Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. -Phillipians 4:11

I am just one person.
A tiny speck in the universe,
But I serve the one who created this world,
And everything in it.
He holds this universe in His hands,
And He holds me too.
He can look down from upon His throne,
Through the clouds of stars and clusters of galaxies,
And see me.
He knows exactly where I’m at,
What I’m doing,
And how I’m feeling.
My God guides my feet,
And His hand is ever present in my life.
I am nothing.
I can do nothing,
But I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
I can and I will.
Starting from this day until breath leaves my body,
God will direct my steps.
He will be the author and the finisher of my faith.
He will never leave me nor forsake me,
And He will be a very present help in my time of trouble.
I can do nothing,
But through Him,
All things are possible.
Not some things,
Not a few things,
Not just realistic and rational things,
ALL things.
All things imaginable.
All things that are in His will.
God will use me to touch the lives of others.
I will serve Him with everything I have,
And in turn,
He will help me serve those around me.
My life will mean something to someone other than me.
I will show compassion and love to all people,
For God has shown me compassion and love.
I will forgive and let my anger go.
I will lay my burdens at the Master’s feet,
So that I might help others with theirs.
My dreams have changed.
My life is not my own now.
But it is His.
He will use me as He sees fit,
And I will heed His call.
I will be a fisher of men.
I will feed the hungry,
I will clothe those who have none.
I will work to be acceptable unto God.
I will be His child,
And He will be my Father.
I will not worry,
But rejoice in His wonderful love.
I will praise His name in the morning, in the evening,
And in the long hours of the night.
I will love him above all else.
For He is my God.
He is my Lord.
He will mold me,
Shape me into who He wants me to be.

I want my life to mean something to someone other than me.

    • Jay, I didn’t want you to think I’ve been ignoring this! I’m very honored and I’ve started my post for it but I’m having trouble finding out how many followers people have on their blogs (probably because I’m not very smart about WordPress in general). I will have my post done by the end of the week. Thank you again! God bless!
